PhD thesis template

This page is about the template I created for writing my PhD thesis.

It's a Linux-based kit. Using a Makefile (that is called through the make command in Linux), pdflatex is called, and a PDF-file is created in several runs. For this, it is required that all graphics are in the PDF-format (e.g., to convert an EPS-file to PDF, the Linux command "epstopdf" can be used).

This PDF uses also the package "Hyperref", which makes all references and links clickable. Also references to webpages can be followed (if the link between the PDF-viewer and the webbrowser is properly configured).
